EVA Track diesel motorcycle

Finally we made it: We went to see the factory of the famous EVA Track diesel motorcylce in Valkenburgh in The Netherlands, and also went for a test ride! My verdict: Thump up: It's just superb!!! It's fun to drive, clever engineered and different - I just got hooked on it! Thanks to Eric (boss) & Hans (production chief) for the welcome and the personal tour they have given us. For more information, go to EVA Track Dieselmotorcycles.

Howlin' Wolf

Chester Arthur Burnett (June 10, 1910 – January 10, 1976), known as Howlin' Wolf, was an influential American bluessinger, guitarist and harmonica player. With a booming voice and looming physical presence, Burnett is commonly ranked among the leading performers in electric blues. His song "Moanin' at midnight"  made it to #10 in 1951. See also Howlin's website.

A lot of people wonder "What is the blues?". I hear a lot of people saying "The blues, the blues...". But I won't tell you what the blues is. When you ain't got any money, you got the blues. When you ain't got any money to pay your house, you still got the blues...[...]...'cause you're thinkin' evil. And in a time you're thinkin' evil, you're thinkin' 'bout the blues.

aka Howlin' Wolf,
1910-1976]

Good-bye Saab

I loved the cool Swedish car company and their stylish and turbocharged lineup - sad to see that GM let Saab die...! Pictured here is the famous Saab 99 Turbo with rallye driver Stig Blomqvist.
